Sheraton Flowood Refuge Hotel & Conference Center

The Mississippi School Boards Association (MSBA) will host the annual Legislative Update & School Law Review at the Sheraton Flowood: Refuge Hotel and Conference Center in Flowood, MS.

Attend the Legislative Update & School Law Review to find out about decisions of lawmakers in the 2024 Mississippi Legislature, recent court rulings – locally and nationally, as well as changes in federal / state guidelines. This important annual meeting is designed especially for school board members, superintendents, board attorneys, and key central office administrators who work together to strategically plan for the next year and beyond.

Credit Hours Registration Fee

Credit Hours

Board members can earn up to nine (9) continuing education hours by attending the Early Bird and the Legislative Update & School Law Review.

Attorneys can earn six (6) hours of CLE credit for the Tuesday session only.

Superintendents and others with administrative licenses can earn up to five (5) SEMI credit hours.

Business officers can earn up to nine (9) continuing education hours.

Registration Fee

Early Bird Seminar Fee: $150 per person

Conference Fee: $300 per person

Sheraton Flowood: The Refuge Hotel & Conference Center: A Reservation Code will be sent once registration for the 2024 MSBA Legislative Update & School Law Review Conference is complete. The code will be included on the MSBA Legislative Update & School Law Review Conference registration confirmation. Once the participant is registered for the conference, the participant and the submitter of the registrations will receive a confirmation email.
