The Mississippi School Boards Association (MSBA) Student Essay and Speaking Contestis designed to provide an opportunity for 11th and 12th grade students in the public schools of Mississippi to express creative ideas and concepts, conduct research, think critically, and practice public speaking skills.
One winner will be selected from each Mississippi Congressional District. Each winner will receive a $1,000 award. Winners will present their speech at the MSBA Annual Conference on February 25-26, 2025.
